Reviving Adaire's auditorium
Thank you SO much to everyone who contributed to the Adaire Auditorium Fundraising Campaign! WE DID IT! With the help of so many generous contributors, we raised $12,000, the threshold set by Penn Treaty Special Services District to earn a matching grant for the same amount of $12,000! This money funded a major update to Adaire's auditorium, a priority of Principal Jenkins. We replaced the broken sound system and installed a state-of-the-art a/v system, and replaced the tattered stage curtain, giving Adaire's students a performance space worthy of their talents AND a functional and free (most of the year, before 8 p.m.) performance space for the Fishtown community! Now we host an annual spring concert fundraiser and other events throughout the year.
